One of England's frontmost DJs of all meter since his Jamaican-style Good Times Sound System debuted at London's Notting Hill Carnival in 1980, Norman Jay pioneered the sound of rare channel, house, and acerbic jazz during the intoxicating days of Britain's increasing ascendency in the spherical dance scene.
